Srihari - Type 1 is taken from the ancient manuscripts preserved by Dr. Kadri Prabhakar Adiga. Some Letters were also verified from various scholars, other manuscripts from various areas including Udupi, Dharmasthala.

Srihari - Type II has been formed by the request of Vidyashree S, member of Tulu Sahitya Academy, Namma Tulunaad Trust. The primers released by the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy, authored by GVS Ullal were taken as reference to create the letters.

SRI
Tulu Sri font is collectively developed by Nishkal, GVS Ullal, Vidya Sri and Dr. Guru from KaNaada Phonetics. It has almost every bug rectified, and can be professionally installed and used for premium designing and graphics. Development of the font continues with your gracious support and encouragement by propagating the usage of the font.
